Today is mostly sunny and mild.

I fed the birds. I've seen several sparrows and house finches, a male cardinal, a blue jay, and a brown thrasher.

I put the flats of pots outside and watered them.

EDIT 5/10/25 -- We went out to the Vintage Fair Market, the Charleston Food Forest (where I rescued some wild strawberries from the footpath), and Riley Creek Vintage where I found 3 plant stands.

EDIT 5/10/25 -- I put out water for the birds.

EDIT 5/10/25 -- I went out to construct the first strawberry tower, but discovered that the stacking pots don't have predrilled drain holes, so they need to be drilled first. 0_o  I wound up puttering around with other things.

EDIT 5/10/25 -- We got all the holes drilled in the stacking pots.  \o/  There are 12 stacking pots, each a cloverleaf with 3 planting pockets, and each pocket having 3 holes, so 108 holes in all.  We traded off drilling them.

I did okay with the power drill -- it's not too heavy for me to use, so that's helpful to know.

EDIT 5/10/25 -- I assembled the first strawberry tower and planted it wtih 18 wild strawberry plants.

EDIT 5/10/25 -- I assembled and planted about half of the second strawberry tower, then farming activity raised a cloud of dust so I had to quit precipitously.  I'll try again later.

EDIT 5/10/25 -- I finished the second strawberry tower.

EDIT 5/10/25 -- I watered the strawberry towers.  It turns out that the shape makes it very awkward to water more than the top two tiers, but with the drain holes in all the pots, if I pour enough water in the top, it seems to rain down to the rest of the pots.

I've seen a fox squirrel.

EDIT 5/10/25 -- I tidied up the corner of the patio where I was potting plants.

EDIT 5/10/25 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.

The first poppy is blooming near the driveway.  The peony bud under the fly-through feeder is showing a crack of hot pink, although the white ones elsewhere haven't started to open yet.

As it is getting dark, I am done for the night.

Today is sunny and mild.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a few sparrows and house finches, along with several blackbirds out foraging in the recently mowed grass.

I put out water for the birds.

I set out the flats of pots and watered them.

EDIT 5/9/25 -- Today's main yardening project is the goddess garden.  I have started trimming around the edge and digging grass from the inside, but it is slow going.

EDIT 5/9/25 -- I did more work on the goddess garden.

EDIT 5/9/25 -- The greenhouse has arrived!  :D  It is in two big heavy boxes.  The delivery guys were kind enough to put them in the garden shed  for us!  Quality blue-collar workers still exist, they're just rare as hen's teeth nowadays.

EDIT 5/9/25 -- I did more work on the goddess garden.  I'm about halfway around the outside edge.

I've seen several mourning doves, several catbirds, a brown thrasher, and a robin.  Yes, the catbirds really meow, and you can hear it on that page.

EDIT 5/9/25 -- I did more work on the goddess garden.  I'm about 3/4 around the outside edge.

EDIT 5/9/25 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.

EDIT 5/9/25 -- I did more work on the goddess garden.  I finished trimming and cleaning around the outside edge.  Next I need to do the inside of the garden.

EDIT 5/9/25 -- I did more work on the goddess garden.  I pretty much got the inside cleaned up.  Next will be reinstalling the goddess statue.

I've seen a young fox squirrel in the forest garden, smaller than usual, with a less bushy tail, and not very confident aloft yet.

EDIT 5/9/25 -- I planted 4 pink peppermint and 4 peach moss roses around the goddess statue.  I'll need to do the outer ring later.

EDIT 5/9/25 -- I planted 12 assorted color moss roses around the outer ring, just inside the bricks.  And that project is done! \o/

I saw a skunk digging in the south lot.  This one has a lot of white on its head, a white stripe down the left side, but mostly black down the right side.  So I think it's different from the others I'v seen.

EDIT 5/9/25 -- I planted the last 4 moss roses in a pot by the old picnic table.

I watered the goddess garden and pansy pots.

As it is getting dark, I am done for the night.  *goflopnow*

Today is partly cloudy and mild.  It's supposed to rain, don't know if it actually will.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a few sparrows and house finches, two mourning doves, and two blackbirds.

I put out water for the birds.

I moved the flats of pots outside and watered them.  There are currently 4 but not all of them are full.

EDIT 5/8/25 -- I sowed seeds in the telephone pole garden including Ageratum 'Red Bouquet', Balsam, Celosia 'Wooster Cockscomb', Four 'o Clock 'Marbles Mix', Hollyhock 'Antwerp', Fig Hollyhock 'Happy Lights', Sunflower 'Autumn Beauty', Sunflower 'Hopi Landrace', Sunflower 'Pinetree Mix', Zinnia 'Mega Diversity Mix', and Zinnia 'Persian Carpet'.

I brought in the flats because it looks like it might rain.

EDIT 5/8/25 -- I planted a 'Lemon Boy' tomato with 4 'Hot Pak Gold' marigolds in a large pot on the new picnic table.

Thunder and a sprinkle of rain, but that's all so far.

EDIT 5/8/25 -- I planted a pot of red and white petunias with 'Dusty Miller' artemesia and sweet alyssum; and a pot of mixed impatiens with sweet alyssum.  I had just started the hot pink torenia when it began raining again, so I'll have to do that one later.

EDIT 5/8/25 -- I planted one pot with 2 hot pink torenia, 1 pink-and-white striped Wave petunia, and 2 sweet alyssum.  I planted another pot with 2 hot pink torenia, 4 sweet alyssum, and 1 'Dusty Miller' artemesia.

EDIT 5/8/25 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.

I've seen two male goldfinches, a brown thrasher, and a fox squirrel.

EDIT 5/8/25 -- I sowed dill and parsley seeds in the telephone pole garden.

I saw a skunk, with normal markings so it wasn't Arrow.

I am done for the night.

Today is partly sunny and mild.

I've seen a male rose-breasted grosbeak and a blue jay at the fly-through feeder.  :D

EDIT 5/7/25 -- I fed the birds.  I've seen a male indigo bunting, a male cardinal, and a brown thrasher.

I put out water for the birds.  I dumped the red birdbath and refilled it.  While I haven't seen any birds using it, the amount of dirt and algae in the water strongly implies that they are.

I put the flats of plants outside.

EDIT 5/7/25 -- We went out to pick up more garden supplies: 2 bags of potting soil, 1 bag of composted manure, and roughly 2 flats of plants.  The weather has warmed up.

My partner Doug is going out to mow the house yard and some other places.

EDIT 5/7/25 -- I planted a purple-and-white striped Wave petunia in a pot by itself.  I filled 2 green pots, each with 2 black pansies and 2 Johnny-jump-ups.

EDIT 5/7/25 -- I raked the center path of the prairie garden, then sowed it with grass and clover seed.

I brought in the flats of pots.

As it is now dark, I am done for the night.  *goflopnow*

Today is sunny and mild, a beautiful spring day. But it's Poetry Fishbowl, so I doubt I'll get much done outside.

I fed the birds. I've seen a mixed flock of sparrows and house finches, two mourning doves, two blue jays, and a red-headed woodpecker.

I put out water for the birds.

I set the flats of pots outside and watered them.

EDIT 5/6/25 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.

I've seen a male cardinal, a male rose-breasted grosbeak, and two fox squirrels chasing each other. :D  I love seeing grosbeaks, they pass through sometimes in spring.

EDIT 5/6/25 -- I've seen a female cardinal, a white-crowned sparrow, and a male indigo bunting.  :D

EDIT 5/6/25 -- I refilled the birdfeeders.  The birds have been mobbing them today.

I brought in the flats of pots.

I am done for the night.

Today is cloudy, mild, and damp.  It's not currently raining.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a mixed flock of sparrows and house finches, at least 6 blue jays, 2 brown thrashers, a starling, a mourning dove, and a red-headed woodpecker.

EDIT 5/5/25 -- I moved the flats of plants outside and watered them.

I potted up a 'Black Krim' tomato with 4 marigolds (2 solid yellow, 2 red with yellow centers) on the new picnic table.  Today's plan is to build the garden, if it doesn't rain.  By "build" I mean filling the big pots I bought previously, and by "garden" I mean the vegetables for the new picnic table.

I hung a corncob since the jays and woodpeckers have finished the previous one.

I've seen 2 red-headed woodpeckers together.  :D

EDIT 5/5/25 -- I potted up a 'Cherokee Purple' tomato with 4 marigolds (2 solid yellow, 2 red with yellow centers) on the new picnic table.

EDIT 5/5/25 -- I potted up a chocolate cherry tomato with 4 marigolds (2 solid orange, 2 red with yellow centers) on the new picnic table.  This is the last of the 4 biggest pots from Family Dollar.

EDIT 5/5/25 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.

I've seen a male cardinal.

EDIT 5/5/25 -- I potted up a tomatillo with 4 marigolds (2 solid orange, 2 red with yellow centers) on the new picnic table.  This is the first of the 6 large pots from Big Lots.  I also planted 2 chocolate cherry tomatoes in a big square pot on the old picnic table that has some marigolds volunteering in it already.

EDIT 5/5/25 -- I potted up 2 burpless cucumbers and 4 assorted marigolds in a large pot on the new picnic table.  I planted the other two cucumbers in a big square pot on the old picnic table with 4 food forest marigolds.

EDIT 5/5/25 -- I trimmed grass and pulled weeds around the support wire for the telephone pole, where I'll be sowing cypress vine later.

I've seen 2 blue jays, a male cardinal, and a male goldfinch.  It's good luck to see blue, red, and yellow all visiting the feeders at the same time.  :D

EDIT 5/5/25 -- I sowed cypress vine seeds around the support wire.

I potted up 2 'Cherokee Purple' tomatoes in a big square pot on the old picnic table with 4 Shithouse Marigolds.

Poppies are almost ready to bloom.  Irises have buds, including at least one that I planted in fall.  Hollies and blue spruce have new growth.

EDIT 5/5/25 -- I potted up the last 'Cherokee Purple' tomato with Shithouse Marigolds, and the last chocolate cherry tomato with food forest marigolds, in large pots on the new picnic table.  This concludes the current batch of potted vegetables, although I'm still questing for some things.  While the seedling marigolds weren't big enough for my early planting, they did save me some money on this round. \o/  A thing to do more of next year.

As it is getting dark, I am done for the night.  *goflopnow*

Today is cloudy, mild, and wet.  it's been raining lightly all day.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a few house finches and sparrows.  Clearly larger birds have been about, though, because the corncob has large empty patches.

EDIT 5/4/25 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.

Many birds are now mobbing the feeders.  I've seen a mixed flock of sparrows and house finches, at least three blue jays, two mourning doves, a brown thrasher, a red-headed woodpecker, and a fox squirrel.  :D

The rain seems to be tapering off but everything is still soaked.

EDIT 5/4/25 -- I planted 4 assorted perennial pinks and 2 purple and white mixed sweet alyssum in a purple pot on the patio.  I planted 2 pink and 2 white impatiens in the log garden.

EDIT 5/4/25 -- I planted a purple-and-white speckled petunia, a lavender veined petunia, a white callibrachoa, and a 'Dusty Miller' artemesia in the big blue pot on the old picnic table.

EDIT 5/4/25 -- I planted a purple-and-yellow striped petunia, a pink-and-yellow lantana, a pink-and-yellow striped superbells, and 2 purple-and-yellow snapdragons in a pot that will fit into an empty chair frame.

I've seen a pair of cardinals and two brown thrashers.

I fed the birds.  I put up a new corncob.  Despite the rain, there's been a lot of activity at the feeders.  I've seen a mixed flock of sparrows and house finches, two mourning doves, two red-headed woodpeckers, a white-crowned sparrow, a starling, a brown-headed cowbird, and a blue jay.  :D

EDIT 5/3/25 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.  It's still raining.

I've seen lots more birds milling around, and a fox squirrel.

EDIT 5/3/25 -- I've seen two blue jays, a brown thrasher, and a red-bellied woodpecker.

Today is mostly cloudy, breezy, and mild. It rained off and on yesterday.

I fed the birds. I haven't seen much activity yet.

I put out water for the birds.

EDIT 5/1/25 -- I planted 4 sweet basil, 1 lemon basil, and 1 purple basil in pots on the patio.  That finished off one flat of herbs.

EDIT 5/1/25 -- I planted a Lantana 'Cherry Sunrise' and an Old-Fashioned Climbing Petunia in the barrel garden. The petunia is what my grandmother callled "yesterday-today-and-tomorrow" because the flowers open white, turn pale pink, then darken to orchid. I planted a Joe Pye Weed in the prairie garden.  This concludes the Select Seeds order.

The first raspberry blossoms are opening. :D

EDIT 5/1/25 -- I brought in the anemometer so my partner Doug could change the batteries, then put it back on its stake in the septic garden.

I sowed Bee Lawn Mix over bare spots in the ritual meadow.

I moved the two white owl pots and the blue chalk-horse pot to the old picnic table, but haven't filled them yet.

I've seen several sparrows and house finches, a mourning dove, and a male goldfinch.  :D

EDIT 5/1/25 -- I filled each of the two white owl pots with a 'Dusty Miller' artemesia, a white petunia, two blue lobelia, and two purple-and-white verbena.  I filled the blue chalk-horse pot with a purple petunia, a white petunia, and four purple and white mix sweet alyssum.

EDIT 5/1/25 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.

EDIT 5/1/25 -- I sowed moonflower and morning glory seeds in the barrel garden.  I sowed Shithouse Marigold seeds in the oval pot on the old picnic table and several pots in the septic garden and new picnic table.

EDIT 5/1/25 -- I planted 4 perennial pinks in the notch of the prairie garden.

Nannyberry and wood hyacinths are blooming.  Irises and blackberries have flower buds.  :D

More drizzle, but not the promised storm, which is fine.

EDIT 5/1/25 -- I planted 4 marigolds around the 'Mr. Stripey' tomato, then added Shithouse Marigold seeds.

I've heard blue jays and catbirds, but haven't seen them.

As it is getting dark, I am done for the night.

"Birdsong"
by Matt Merritt

This evening, a call I don’t know,
and will never know, perhaps, drowning
the lisp and whisper of goldcrests
at the edge of the new plantation.

Something hard, metallic, insistent,
but quite distinct from the blackbird,
hammering chinks of light from the dusk
to ward off darkness at this time each night.

Across the street, somebody is yelling
you don’t listen. You never listen,
a door’s half-heartedly slammed,
and a car radio plays to no one,

but still the unseen bird sings on,
that urgency pitched above
and beyond the background clutter.
Its only sense is now. Is this. Is gone.

Today is cloudy and cool. It rained again last night.

I did a bit of work around the patio.

EDIT 4/30/25 -- I fed the birds. I've seen a few sparrows and house finches, a mourning dove, a brown thrasher, and a starling.

I planted a purple Wave petunia in the barrel garden.

EDIT 4/30/25 -- I planted the barrel garden with a a purple-and-white striped Wave petunia, a yellow callibrachoa / million bells, 4 zinnias that are yellow with pink centers, 8 marigolds in two different 'bolero' cultivars, and 6 snapdragons (2 each of purple, coral, and yellow).  There are spaces left for a yesterday-today-and-tomorrow petunia, a lantana, and sowing moonflower seeds.

It started drizzling while I was working, but not enough to make me quit.

EDIT 4/30/25 -- I planted 4 assorted coleus and 4 purple and white mixed sweet alyssum in the big ceramic pot with grapes on it.  I had to move some of the outdoor flats of seedlings to make room for that.

EDIT 4/30/25 -- I did more work around the patio but it started raining again.  :/

EDIT 4/30/25 -- I planted 4 'Bright Lights' Swiss chard in a pot on the new picnic table.  I don't even know if we like Swiss chard, but it's worth a try -- and pretty enough to serve as an ornamental if it doesn't taste good.  The stems are pink, yellow, orange, etc.

I lost about an hour because it was raining again.

I've seen a lady cardinal and several house finches at the feeders.

We've got other plans for tonight, so I am done planting for now.

Today and yesterday are two of those perfect spring days, mild and sunny with later sunsets that allow me to walk after work.

The trails were full of birds singing, spring peepers and frogs croaking.   I heard my FOY Chipping Sparrow in a tree at work but I could not spot it.

I also saw some late day Robins, White breasted Nuthatch and White throated Sparrows along with our resident pair of Mute Swan.  Mama swan is still incubating her eggs.

Today is partly cloudy, muggy, and warm.  It rained last night.

I fed the birds.  I've seen several house finches.  While I was looking at the barrel garden, a male ruby-throated hummingbird showed up to poke around the tulips and daffodils just a few feet from me.  Clearly I need to buy more late-blooming red tulips and red-cupped daffodils.  He had a hard time finding the nectary on the white daffodils.  There are already a few red flowers in the barrel garden, and I've planted a red columbine in the forest garden.  I heard a blue jay screaming but didn't see it.

I put the flats of pots outside and watered them.

Celandine poppy is blooming bright yellow in the forest garden.  Which reminds me of my observations about mourning dove courtship:

All around the celandine
The male dove chases the female
The male dove thought it was all in fun --
PECK! goes the female!

EDIT 4/29/25 -- I saw a blue jay and a male goldfinch at the forest garden.  :D 3q3q3q!!!

EDIT 4/29/25 -- We went out shopping.  While I was picking out plants, it started to rain.  Fortunately by the time we got home, it was down to a drizzle.  I'm unlikely to get any yardening done today though.

I've seen a female cardinal at the fly-through feeder.

EDIT 4/29/25 -- It stopped raining, so I planted tarragon and cilantro in a trough pot on the old picnic table, which finished filling that. I also planted 4 Johnny-jump-ups in a pot alongside the other violas and pansies on the patio.

EDIT 4/29/25 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.

I planted a purple Wave petunia in the barrel garden.  I sowed Bee Lawn Mix on some bare patches in the prairie garden.

Today is sunny.

I took the flats of pots outside and watered them.

I've seen two starlings, a mourning dove, and a blue jay in the forest garden.  Two vultures flew overhead and landed in the tall trees.  :D

EDIT 4/28/25 -- I fed the birds.

I put out water for the birds.

EDIT 4/28/25 -- We walked around the south lot to decide where to mow a path.  Now my partner Doug is out mowing.

EDIT 4/28/25 -- We walked around the south lot to see what had been mowed.  Yay, progress!

EDIT 4/28/25 -- I planted a peppermint in the strip garden, a catnip in the cistern garden, a pineapple mint and a rosemary in a trough pot on the old picnic table.

EDIT 4/28/25 -- I planted the 'Ohio Treasure' black rraspberry in the patch at the edge of the prairie garden.  This concludes the Edible Landscaping order.

EDIT 4/28/25 -- I planted hepatica and Jack-in-the-pulpit, each 2 in the forest garden and 1 in the streetside forest yard where the trilliums are growing.

EDIT 4/28/25 -- I planted Dutchman's breeches, bloodroot, and white trillium, each 2 in the forest garden and 1 in the streetside forest yard where the trilliums are growing.  This concludes the American Meadows order.

EDIT 4/28/25 -- I planted Dutchman's breechesbloodroot, and white trillium, each 2 in the forest garden and 1 in the streetside forest yard where the trilliums are growing.  This concludes the American Meadows order.

EDIT 4/28/25 -- I raked the mowed north-south path that is second in from the west in the prairie garden and connects with the east-west flower path.  Last year this north-south path was sown with wildflowers, this time I put Little Bluestem grass seed.

EDIT 4/28/25 -- I raked the mowed north-south path that is farther west in the prairie garden, sowed it with 20th anniversary wildflower seed mix plus extra zinnia seeds from the Charleston food forest, and watered it. I raked the mowed east-west path and sowed it with Monarch Butterfly Wildflower Seed Mix plus extra zinnia seeds, and watered it.

As it is now dark, I am done for the night.

Today is cloudy and cool with a light breeze.

I haven't been outside yet, but I saw at least 7 blue jays in the forest garden, which exceeds the maximum of 6 from a previous year. They were coming and going, so I suspect there are more than just the ones I saw together. :D

EDIT 4/27/25 -- I fed the birds. I've seen a mixed flock of sparrows and house finches. I put up another corncob for the blue jays.

I put out water for the birds.

We walked around the prairie garden discussing more places that need to be mowed.

EDIT 4/27/25 -- I planted 25 Deluxe Dutch Gladiolus Mixture in the notch of the prairie garden. This concludes the Breck's order.

EDIT 4/27/25 -- I sowed the prairie notch with Monarch Butterfly Wildflower Seed Mix, Partial Shade Wildflower Seed Mix, and zinnia seeds collected from the Charleston Food Forest.

EDIT 4/27/25 -- I saw a brown thrasher and a red-headed woodpecker in the forest garden.  We used to have red-headed woodpeckers all the time when I was little, but I haven't seen one around here in years.  I hope it stays!  :D 3q3q3q!!!!

EDIT 4/27/25 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.

My partner Doug is currently out mowing.

EDIT 4/27/25 -- We walked around the yard looking at the newly mowed areas.  :D

EDIT 4/27/25 -- I planted a purple sage and a tricolor sage in the strip garden.

EDIT 4/27/25 -- I watered the notch in the prairie garden.

I brought in the flats of potted plants.

I've seen a male and a female cardinal separately, assorted blue jays, and the red-headed woodpecker again.

As it is now dark, I am done for the night.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a flock of house finches, several mourning doves, and two blue jays.

I put out water for the birds.

I moved the flats of plants outside and watered them.

EDIT 4/26/25 -- I planted the mayapplecommon boneset, and 'Blue Moon' woodland phlox in the forest garden.

The linden tree is leafed out all of a sudden.  The new leaves taste like asparagus.  :D

EDIT 4/26/25 -- I planted 'Shenandoah Red' switchgrass'Purple Dome' New England aster, and blunt mountain mint in the wildflower garden.

EDIT 4/26/25 -- I planted 'Silver King' creeping thyme and lemon thyme in the goddess garden.

EDIT 4/26/25 -- I planted the 'Winter Red' winterberry holly in the west hedge of the savanna.

I've been hearing lots of blue jays screaming, so I think there is a flock beyond the two that I've seen together.  I saw a fox squirrel running around the trees over the parking lot.

EDIT 4/26/25 -- I planted the common ironweed in the prairie garden.  That's the last of the potted plants from the American Meadows order.  I still have some bare roots in bags, but those are a little less time-critical.

EDIT 4/26/25 -- I planted a tricolor sedum under the maple tree and a 'Princess Nadia' bugleweed in the purple-and-white garden.

EDIT 4/26/25 -- I planted a red coreopsis in the wildflower garden and 3 perennial pinks (purple, red, and pink) in the prairie garden.  That finished off two more flats, so I only have two flats left to plant. \o/

I brought in the last two flats of plants.

I've seen at least 5 blue jays together.  :D

EDIT 4/26/25 -- I planted dillflat parsley, curly parsley, and sweet marjoram in a trough pot on the old picnic table.

I am done for the night.

Today is warm and wet with variable cloud cover.  It's been raining off and on.

I fed the birds.  I haven't seen much activity though.

I put out water for the birds.

My plant shipment from American Meadows arrived today.

EDIT 4/25/25 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.

EDIT 4/25/25 -- I planted the 'Deutschland' Astilbes. It was supposed to be a bag of 2 but there were 3 full-sized roots (quite large) plus 1 finger-sized root with a sprout, so I put them all in the forest garden. These will put up big plumes of tiny ivory flowers with intense vanilla smell. And my 2 from last year have sprouted too!

I've seen a mixed flock of sparrows and house finches, a blue jay, and a cardinal.

EDIT 4/25/25 -- I planted 25 pink rain lilies in the telephone pole garden.

I've seen a mourning dove and a red-bellied woodpecker.  :D

EDIT 4/25/25 -- I planted the Pink Hawaiian Coral Peony under the maple tree.

It's starting to sprinkle again.

EDIT 4/25/25 -- I planted the Creme de Cassis Hollyhock in the telephone pole garden.

As it is now dark, I am done for the night.

Three Weeks for Dreamwidth runs April 25-May 15. During this time, people post content only visible on Dreamwidth (although it can be reposted elsewhere after the event ends). There's usually a flurry of activity as bloggers share anchor posts, new fiction, icons, banners, questionnaires, friending fests, memes, and other goodies. Community hosts often hold special activities in their communities too. Watch your reading page for more festivities.

Are you posting about birds? You can crosspost those entries here. Are you doing anything for Three Weeks in your blog or other community? Post a comment about that to attract more readers. Follow the Threeweeks feed. See my 2024 Questionnaire and a list of other thematic questionnaires.

In 2023, I posted about birds in honor of [community profile] birdfeeding. If you are new to this community, we have an Introduction tag and questionnaire that you can use to tell us about yourself.

I also made a blogging questionnaire in 2022, which people are welcome to use.
