Birdfeeding
Sep. 18th, 2023 04:28 pmToday is sunny and mild.
I fed the birds. I've seen a few house finches.
I put out water for the birds and watered a few plants.
I picked 3 yellow pear tomatoes. One of the nasturtiums is blooming -- I haven't had much luck with them this year, though last year's did fine.
EDIT 9/18/23 -- I gathered seeds.
EDIT 9/18/23 -- I gathered more seeds.
EDIT 9/18/23 -- I gathered blackberry lily seeds and planted them around the maple tree in the yard by the house.
EDIT 9/18/23 -- I watered the septic garden and patio plants.
EDIT 9/18/23 -- I watered the telephone pole garden, wildflower garden, and notch in the prairie garden.
EDIT 9/18/23 -- I watered the oak seedlings, tulip bed and its grass patch.
Cicadas and crickets are singing.,
As it is now dark, I am done for the night.

Overripe is one possibility, but another is that they got a lot of water during the bulking up phase. Here, my Super 100 cherry tomatoes split every time it rained (which wasn't often). >_< The yellow pears and chocolate cherries did not, and seemed to stay firm.
