Birdfeeding

Today is mostly sunny, muggy, and warm.

I fed the birds.  I've seen several house finches and a male cardinal.

I put out water for the birds and watered a few plants.

More different colors of zinnias are blooming now.  Aside from the schoolbus-yellow Peruvians, the mixed ones are cream, pink, and red.

EDIT 8/5/23 -- I watered the septic garden and plants in the yard by the house.

Sky has clouded over and it feels like rain, but the weather's been cockteasing us all week.  :/

EDIT 8/5/23 -- I watered the telephone pole garden, wildflower garden, and notch in the prairie garden.

It's spitting a few drops of rain.

EDIT 8/5/23 -- I watered the oak seedlings, tulip bed and its grass patch.

Cicadas and crickets are singing.  Fireflies are out.
 
It's already dark from the cloud cover, so I am done for the night.
