Birdfeeding

Today is cloudy, mild, hazy, and humid.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a pair of house finches.

I put out water for the birds and watered some plants.

EDIT 6/28/23 -- I watered the septic garden and patio plants.

EDIT 6/28/23 -- I watered the telephone pole garden, wildflower garden, and notch in the prairie patch.

EDIT 6/28/23 -- I hauled a trolley of brush to the ritual meadow.

I usually do the bird water in the morning, but it's so hot I really should check now too.

When it's hot and dry, more water evaporates and the birds drink more too. The main bowl is in the shade but dry air still has an impact.

Good idea to check your supply.

Was barely used. The grackles are the omes that make a lot of mess, they must not be around.
