Birdfeeding

Today is sunny and hot. Doug says it was 98°F elsewhere. Here it is currently 83°F. We usually get about 10° cooler but this is way more than that. This is because our yard has lots of trees, bushes, and other cover. Trees sweat so you don't have to!

I fed the birds. I've seen several house finches and a gray catbird.

EDIT 6/24/23 -- I put out water for the birds and watered some plants.

I've seen a fox squirrel.

EDIT 6/24/23 -- I watered the picnic table garden.

Much cawing of crows overhead today.

EDIT 6/24/23 -- I watered the septic garden and patio plants.

EDIT 6/24/23 -- I watered the telephone pole garden, wildflower garden, and notch in the prairie garden.

New Asiatic lilies are blooming just as the old ones petered out.  There's a flame-orange one and two white with pink tips, very pretty.  :D 

EDIT 6/24/23 -- I watered the oak seedlings, tulip bed and its grass patch.

EDIT 6/24/23 -- I hauled a trolley of cut branches to the ritual meadow.
