Today is sunny and warm.
I fed the birds. I've seen several grackles, two blue jays, two mourning doves, two brown thrashers, a brown-headed cowbird, a male cardinal, a sparrow, and a fox squirrel. :D
I dug weeds from the septic garden.
EDIT 5/4/23 -- I dug more weeds from the septic garden.
EDIT 5/4/23 -- Change of plans: utility guys are here trimming trees away from power lines. They are willing to remove all the head-high saplings from the ditch that don't belong there, and sometime in the next week or so they will deliver copious amounts of free mulch. If this goes as planned, it will be awesome. So, my new task is cutting brush away from the old mulch pile in the south lot so that can be refreshed. \o/ I made a start on it but there is still a lot to do.

EDIT 5/4/23 -- I took care of the previous task I started earlier, spreading compost on another section of the septic garden, then sowing The Colorful Single Hollyhock Mixture, The Persian Carpet Zinnia Mixture, The Pot of Gold French Marigold Mixture, and Sparky Marigolds. Then I watered the garden.

EDIT 5/4/23 -- I watered the oak seedlings and the gardens by the telephone pole.
Pink, blue, and white flowers are blooming in the wildflower garden. I think these are the Spanish bluebells.
As it is getting dark, I am done for the night.
