Birdfeeding
Apr. 8th, 2023 04:19 pmToday is sunny and warm.
I fed the birds. I've seen a flock of sparrows, a flock of mourning doves, two pairs of cardinals, a robin, some tiny tree-clinging bird I barely got a glimpse of (possibly a brown creeper), and a fox squirrel.
The first of the tulips are blooming, two red ones in the tulip bed. There's a new kind of double daffodil blooming, not the ruffly kind, this one literally has an orange cup with a white cup inside it. The pear trees are starting to bloom too, the original one and at least a couple of volunteers.
I hauled two buckets of mulch to put around jugs.
EDIT 4/8/23 -- I hauled two more buckets of mulch to put around jugs.
Little flowers are blooming in the wildflower garden, purple daisylike things with yellow centers. I think they're anemones.

EDIT 4/8/23 -- We burned off the firepit this evening. \o/ We also picked up most of the sticks in the ritual meadow. Again.
