Sunday 1/25/26

Frigid cold Saturday and cold and a big snowstorm today (Sunday). We are expecting at least a foot, we already have 5 inches and it's supposed to continue snowing the rest of this afternoon and all night.

Many birds squirrels and deer stopped by to stock up.

In fact there a quite a few House and Song Sparrows, Dark eyed Junco and a single Carolina Wren hanging around under our porch right now in the feeders out of the elements. A pair of Downy Woodpecker are also around, plus Blue Jays, Mourning Dove and a flock of Gulls earlier.

Yikes. Here I've seen forecasts of 5-10" and 6-9" with about 4" already fallen.
