Last week it was more crows and pigeons.

Today on the 14th: An actual sparrow! And just when I left the house. 

More pigeons in town as well!

That sounds like fun.

Here I always have sparrows. They are about evenly split between house sparrows (an invasive species from Europe) and native song sparrows. Once in a while I spot something different, like a white-crowned sparrow.

Often about a third to half the flock will actually be house finches. I had some earlier this year but haven't seen them recently.
