Birdfeeding
Mar. 21st, 2023 04:45 pmToday is cloudy and cold. When I went outside to feed the birds, it started spitting rain.
I fed the birds. I've seen a flock of sparrows, a flock of mourning doves, a pair of cardinals, at least one dark-eyed junco, and two fox squirrels.
Ice Follies are starting to bloom. :D These are the second-earliest and second-hardiest of my daffodils after the standard yellow trumpets, and by far the toughest of the fancy daffodils. These have white petals with pale yellow cups. If you want some variety in your long-lasting daffodils for naturalizing, you can't beat these. Some of mine are decades old.
