Birdfeeding

Today is cloudy and cool. It rained a little last night.

I fed the birds. I've seen several sparrows, two starlings, and a fox squirrel.

I walked around the yard a bit. My worms are awake. All over the ground, a foot apart or even closer, are little mounds of worm castings around a hole. :D I have so many earthworms. I can't turn over a trowel without seeing them wriggle out of the way.

EDIT 3/13/23 -- Now it's spitting snow, or perhaps graupel.  :/

That's always nice to see. 22F the next couple nights here, but there's a lot of stuff starting to wake up.
