first robin of spring

birdfeedingI saw a female robin this afternoon, while I was walking near my home.
Our birdfeeder has been getting at least one chickadee and some woodpeckers, plus at least a few mourning doves and a small crowd of sparrows.
The chickadee flies over, grabs a seed, flies off to eat it, and comes back for seconds. The woodpeckers seem to be doing something similar, and the sparrows show up in slightly larger numbers than there are openings in the birdfeeder.
