A Downy Woodpecker, some Common Grackles, Blue Jays, House Sparrow and Red-winged Blackbird spotted early this morning.
It's cloud and cool today, we are expecting on and off rain over the next several days.
EDIT
It is even colder this afternoon...40 degrees but feels like 32 degrees with the NE winds off the ocean. Actually feels like it could snow.

Date: 2025-03-29 08:23 pm (UTC)Red-winged blackbirds have been hugging my yard this year, and they usually don't because we don't have a significant water feature, just birdbaths and puddles. But little is growing in the marshy areas as yet, whereas my yard has loads of plants, insects are stirring, and there's enough water for drinking and bathing.
