Birdfeeding

Today is mostly sunny, breezy, and cool. It drizzled a little last night, enough to leave a few puddles in the road.

I fed the birds. I've seen a small mixed flock of sparrows and house finches, plus a starling. I've heard cardinals singing but haven't seen them.

I put out water for the birds.

We went to the Charleston Food Forest, where I gathered several things and took pictures of what's sprouting.

EDIT 3/24/25 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.

EDIT 3/24/25 -- I planted 4 of the strawberry crowns in one of the beige trough pots and set that on the new picnic table.

EDIT 3/24/25 -- I planted 4 of the strawberry crowns around the contorta willow and the last 3 under the maple tree.

EDIT 3/24/25 -- I planted 5 of the hardneck garlic sprouts in a pot, and a bunch more around the contorta willow. I still have quite a few left.

I've seen a fox squirrel.

As it is almost suppertime, I am done for the night.
