Birdfeeding

Today is cloudy and cold.  It's snowing again, a fine dusting that clings to the branches, highlighting everything.

I haven't fed the birds yet.  I've seen a large mixed flock of sparrows and house finches, several starlings, a male and a female cardinal, and a tufted titmouse.

EDIT 1/10/25 --  I fed the birds.  I've seen multiple cardinals, several mourning doves, a dark-eyed junco, and a male downy woodpecker.

EDIT 1/10/25 --  I did a bit of work around the patio.

I fed the birds again, as they almost emptied the hopper feeder.  I've seen a flock of cardinals.

I am done for the night.
