I finally put up my thistle feeder and my seed feeder (stocked with safflower), both Droll Yankee models. So far, I've seen tufted titmice, chickadees, nuthatches, house sparrows, and a house finch.
I'm thinking of getting a waterer and a mealworm feeder, maybe next month.

That's a nice set.

A waterer is a great idea. Everything needs water.
Mealworms are a bit trickier, and more expensive, but many birds will eat them. Also, if you find pest caterpillars, you can drop them in the mealworm feeder.

Date: 2023-02-21 12:57 am (UTC)I have it as a 4-year wall calendar.
I'm in an area where I should be able to get orioles, but their feeding requirements are a little complex for me to deal with at the moment, but I think I'd be able to manage a waterer.
