Birds at work

I put out some feeders at work, since with these short days I spend more daylight hours at work than at home.

Today there are a few Dark-eyed Junco and House Sparrow. Last week a I spotted Northern Cardinal. Right now I'm pleased with these urban sightings.

That's a good catch for urban settings. You might consider putting out water to attract more species, especially if you have an outdoor outlet to support a heated birdbath. Drinking water is very hard for urban wildlife to find, especially in winter.
