Birdfeeding

Today is sunny and mild, a beautiful fall day.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a mixed flock of sparrows and house finches, a tufted titmouse, and a downy woodpecker.

I put out water for the birds.

I watered the septic garden and the notch in the prairie garden.

Bees are mobbing the water stations again.

I've seen a big yellow butterfly at the zinnias in the prairie garden.
