Birdfeeding

Today is cloudy, humid, and warm.

I fed the birds. I've seen two mourning doves, a pair of house finches, and a fox squirrel.

I realized that I forgot to put snapdragons in the barrel garden, so I added six of those. More morning glories are sprouting there too.

EDIT 5/11/23 -- I dug out the center of the goddess garden and installed the statue.

EDIT 5/11/23 -- I planted 2 golden lemon thyme and 2 English thyme around the goddess statue.

I heard a blue jay screaming but didn't see him.

EDIT 5/11/23 -- I planted 3 hens-and-chicks in the goddess garden.

EDIT 5/11/23 -- I planted 12 moss rose around the goddess garden. I think that's all the plants for that garden. I still need to top it with fresh soil and water it.

I've seen two white-crowned sparrows.

EDIT 5/11/23 -- I spread the partial bag of Scott's Humus & Manure and the first bag of Peatland's Pride Composted Cow Manure and Peat Humus on the flowerbed by the telephone pole. The Peatland is greatly superior, dark and fluffy. :D

EDIT 5/11/23 -- I planted the last of the Hopi Landrace Sunflowers and Florenza Sunflowers in the garden by the telephone pole.  I also planted Antwerp Hollyhock, Big Flower Mix Zinnia, Monticello Peruviana Zinnia, Lemon Mint Monarda, and Mammoth Dill.

EDIT 5/11/23 -- I topped the goddess garden with potting soil.  Then I watered it and the telephone pole garden.

EDIT 5/11/23 -- I raked the firepit and built the core for a new bonfire.

I saw an indigo bunting at the fly-through feeder.  :D

EDIT 5/11/23 -- I planted Tickseed Coreopsis SunKiss and Dianthus Bouquet Rose Magic in the wildflower garden.

EDIT 5/11/23 -- I planted Beardtongue Husker Red and Dianthus Rockin' Red in the wildflower garden.

EDIT 5/11/23 -- I watered the new plants in the wildflower garden.  I planted more cypress vine seeds around the support wire and in the septic garden.

As it is now dark, I am done for the night.
