Birdfeeding
Jul. 29th, 2024 06:12 pmToday is cloudy, humid, and warm. It rained again last night, and may rain more today or tonight.
I fed the birds. I've seen a few house finches, a mourning dove, and a fox squirrel.
EDIT 7/29/24 -- I picked 1 yellow pear and 1 red cherry tomato.
There is a huge flight of dragonflies over the south lot, some several dozen of them, and a bunch of birds that might be swifts or swallows of some sort, all zooming around, presumably after tiny insects. :D
In the notch of the prairie garden, a fuchsia zinnia is blooming and a white one is just starting to open.
As it is getting dark, I am done for the night.
