Birdfeeding

Today is partly cloudy and humid.

I haven't been outside yet, but the forest garden is busy today.  Already I've seen a large flock of house finches, two mourning doves, a male cardinal, and a fox squirrel.  One of the finches was splashing about in the metal birdbath -- the first time I've seen a bird use that fixture -- with at least a dozen confused and annoyed bees buzzing around with "WTF?" body language.  :D

EDIT 7/24/24 -- I fed the birds.

It's starting to spit rain.

EDIT 7/24/24 -- I watered the patio plants and the picnic table garden.

EDIT 7/24/24 -- I watered the septic garden and the notch in the prairie garden.  More zinnias are showing buds now.  :D

EDIT 7/24/24 -- I watered the monarch strip.

EDIT 7/24/24 -- I watered the tower strip and the bluestem strip.
