Birdfeeding

birdfeedingToday started out cloudy, warm, and wet. It drizzled this morning, enough to leave small puddles. Now it is partly sunny, steamy, sweltering, and awful. Temperature is 86°F but heat index says 99°F which is how it actually feels. Thank fuck I don't have to water plants in that. O_O
I did put out food for the birds. I've seen a flock of house finches, a lady cardinal, and a fox squirrel.
Bees are visiting the metal birdbath but I haven't managed to refill it yet. Need to cool off first.
I've been hearing faint rumbles of thunder.
EDIT 6/29/24 -- I put out water for the birds and watered a few plants.
It's raining again, a steady light rain, with a bit of thunder.
