Birdfeeding

Today is sunny and mild.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a flock of house finches.

EDIT 5/29/24 -- I started tidying the inside of the septic garden.

I used a hand rake to clear off the septic garden.

I spread the first bag of potting soil on the septic garden.

EDIT 5/29/24 -- I put plastic mesh over the fresh potting soil.  I need to get more garden staples, but I really like this roll of plastic fence I bought.

EDIT 5/29/24 -- I sowed seeds in the septic garden, mostly the same stuff I put in the telephone pole garden minus the hollyhocks.

EDIT 5/29/24 -- Previously Doug raked up 8 small piles of mowed grass.  We moved those to the grass wall.

EDIT 5/29/24 -- I watered the septic garden, patio plants, and picnic table plants.  The first tiny tomatoes are appearing on one plant in the septic garden.  :D

EDIT 5/29/24 -- I watered the grass patch, telephone pole garden, and notch in the prairie garden.  The first of the Asiatic lilies are blooming.  :D  These are mostly white with pink tips.

As it is now dark, I am done for the night.
