Birdfeeding

Today is sunny and mild.  We got a good soaking rain last night.

I haven't fed the birds yet.  I've seen a male house finch.

I put the last few plants out to get some sun.

EDIT 5/25/24 -- I fed the birds.  I've only seen house finches, but the feed levels are certainly dropping.

EDIT 5/25/24 -- Doug had cut low-hanging branches to clear a better path to the grass wall in the south lot.  I helped him drag those to the ritual meadow.

EDIT 5/25/24 -- I cleared a spot to plant a juneberry at the edge of the savanna.

I'm getting eaten alive by flies.  There are swarms of them everywhere, and they are not at all deterred by the two different bug repellents I'm wearing. >_<

EDIT 5/25/24 -- I cleared a spot to plant a juneberry in the west hedge of the savanna.

EDIT 5/25/24 -- I cleared a spot to plant a pawpaw at the edge of the savanna.

EDIT 5/25/24 -- I planted a 'Select' pawpaw at the edge of the savanna.

EDIT 5/25/24 -- I planted about half a bag of 30 'Purple Storm' gladioli bulbs in the notch of the prairie garden.

EDIT 5/25/24 -- I finished planting the bag of gladioli.

I watered the newly planted things.

As it is getting dark, I am done for the night.
