Birdfeeding

birdfeedingToday is partly cloudy and cool with a breeze.
I fed the birds. I've seen several house finches.
I planted four yellow marigolds in the giant pot, and four in the barrel garden. They were only marked as Tagetes. Probably they are some commercial cultivar that just didn't get labeled precisely. But they could be some individual nursery's stock of "marigolds" of no particular parentage, which would be awesome. They do have a nice strong scent. :D So I think this will make a nice contribution to the Shithouse Marigolds, which tend toward orange and red shades.
EDIT 4/20/24 -- I planted a pot of pansies and violas in shades of purple and white.
