Birdfeeding

Today is cloudy and mild, actually my idea of a beautiful spring day. It's been trying to rain, and so far has managed no more than a desultory drizzle. Flowers are blooming everywhere, though. My redbud trees have pink buds. The lawn is all over violets with a few dandelions. I saw a pair of red admiral butterflies doing a mating dance, at least 1-2 months early. Tulips are blooming in white, yellow, red, and every shade of pink-peach-salmon. :D

I fed the birds. I've seen a pair of house finches.

EDIT 4/1/24 -- We finally got a good soaking rain after the drizzle and spit all day.
