Photos: House Yard and South Lot

I took some pictures in the yard today. These are from the house yard and the south lot.


Crocuses are blooming in the rain garden.




White crocuses are blooming. Columbine and heuchera are well leafed out.




The forest garden is just outside the kitchen window.




Bluebells already have buds. This is a month and a half early -- they normally bloom around Beltane.




The purple-and-white garden has all kinds of things leafing out.




White Siberian squill is blooming in the purple-and-white garden.




Bulbs are sprouting around the contorta willow.




Blue grape hyacinth is blooming under the contorta willow.




Daffodils are blooming around the maple tree.




Here is a closeup of the yellow daffodils.




Blue-and-white violets are blooming along the south side of the house.




Grass is green and growing in the south lot. Clover is leafed out too.
