Today is partly sunny and mild. It's the first day this month that I've really seen sunbeams, at least some of the time. :D
I fed the birds. I've seen a female downy woodpecker on the suet cage.
EDIT 1/23/23 -- I walked around the yard more. Daffodils are sprouting under the big maple at the edge of the south lot. Crocus and some other bulb, possibly grape hyacinths, are sprouting in the purple-and-white garden; so is the sedum there, although the sedum in the septic garden is not up yet. Comfrey is leafing out under my apricot where the fly-through feeder is, that's my miner plant, which attracts swarms of bees in summer.
