Birdfeeding

Today is cloudy and cool. Last night it snowed a little, just enough to frost the ground. By morning it had all melted off, so everything is wet.

I fed the birds. I've seen a flock of sparrows, a pair of cardinals, two female downy woodpeckers chasing each other, and a starling on the suet cage. :D

I walked around the yard some more. I haven't seen any more bulbs sprouting. I was looking for snowdrops, which are usually the first to appear, but apparently they are sleeping in.

Daffodils are starting to sprout here.

Saw the Red Shouldered Hawk soaring across the front hayfield on Sat as we headed to martial arts class.
