Birdfeeding
Jan. 14th, 2024 03:18 pmToday is cloudy and extremely cold. Last night it got down to -4°F and -25°F wind chill. O_O Today it is "up" to 0°F and -19°F.
I haven't fed the birds yet, but I have seen a flock of sparrows and a pair of cardinals huddled around the hopper feeder like fluffly little softballs, desperately stuffing their faces. I want to put out some suet for them, but I don't have any. Hopefully I can obtain some during the cold snap.
EDIT 1/14/24 -- It is currently -6°F and -20°F windchill. On the bright side, I have suet to put out tomorrow!
