Happy Boxing Day! For many folks, today is when they take down the Christmas tree, wreaths, garlands, and other holiday decorations. Cut evergreens or other natural materials can be repurposed in many ways.

Did you plant a live potted or ball-and-burlap tree for the holidays? You can use cut evergreens to mulch around it, they like that. If you don't have such leftovers, your friends or neighbors almost certainly do, so just ask around.
