Birdfeeding

Today is sunny and hot.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a flock of house finches, a male and a female cardinal separately.

EDIT 7/20/23 -- I put out water for birds and watered a few plants.

I saw a fox squirrel above the hopper feeder.

EDIT 7/20/23 -- I started cutting weeds and brush at the entrance to the orchard, since that hasn't been mowed and is grown over.

EDIT 7/20/23 -- I cut more weeds and brush at the entrance to the orchard.

EDIT 7/20/23 -- I watered the septic garden and plants in the yard by the house.

EDIT 7/20/23 -- I watered the telephone pole garden, wildflower garden, and notch in the prairie garden.

EDIT 7/20/23 -- I watered the oak seedlings, tulip bed and its grass patch.

Fireflies are coming out.  Crickets are singing.  Several bats are swooping around the driveway.  :D  I love bats.  They're so agile in the air.  I love the flutter of their wings, their little squeaks and clicks, their aerial acrobatics.

As it is now dark, I am done for the night.
