birdfeedingI just refilled the birdfeeder, and checked carefully afterwards that I had closed and locked the back door properly.
When I fed the birds a couple of days ago, I thought I'd locked it properly, but it turned out I hadn't.
The wind blew the back door open, and rattled it enough to wake Adrian, who discovered that one of the cats had taken advantage of the situation and was sitting on the tiny back porch where we hang the birdfeeder. She brought the cat inside and locked up properly, and told me about the adventure when I woke up.
There were of course no birds on the porch while the cat was out there.
