Birdfeeding

Today is cloudy and quite cold. It got down in the twenties last night, and even snowed a little. :/

I fed the birds. I've seen a flock of sparrows, several cardinals, two starlings, a mourning dove, a robin, and a fox squirrel. The starlings were struggling to hold upside down on the suet feeder, with middling success.

Everything was frozen, so I put out warm water for the birds.

I carried two armloads of wood from the main pile to the rack on the patio.

I have seen several mourning doves, a pair of cardinals, and a male downy woodpecker having no trouble eating upside-down from the suet cage.

Frozen here for a couple days, I've also been putting out warm water.
