Birdfeeding
Mar. 11th, 2023 04:28 pmToday is cloudy and cool.
I fed the birds. I've seen a flock of sparrows, two mourning doves, two grackles, a starling, and a male downy woodpecker. I also saw some sort of native sparrow drive a house sparrow away from the peanut suet cake. Hee!
I put out water for the birds.
I walked around the yard. The first of the blue grape hyacinths is blooming under the contorta willow. A new crocus is blooming under the golden raintree, white with purple outside petals. That's probably from the "2 Months of Flowering Crocus" bag that I bought, because that one has many different varieties mixed together. I really like the month mixes, I've gotten them in other flower types too.
