Birdfeeding

birdfeedingToday is cloudy and cold, spitting rain. It got down into the 20s last night so a lot of things froze.
I fed the birds. I've seen several sparrows and goldfinches. I heard a woodpecker drumming but didn't see it.
I put out water for the birds and watered a few plants.
Basil, morning glories, and some marigolds have frozen. Lobelia, dusty miller, some shithouse marigolds, and surprisingly million bells are still alive.
EDIT 11/27/24 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.
It's actively raining now.
As it is getting dark, I am done for the night.
