Birdfeeding

Today is cloudy, windy, muddy, and cold.  It drizzled off and on yesterday afternoon, then rained for several hours at night.   It's 34°F with wind at 26 miles per hour.  A beautiful day to stay indoors and write!

I fed the birds.  I've seen a mixed flock of sparrows and house finches, several mourning doves, and a starling.

I put out water for the birds.

EDIT 3/16/25 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.

I've seen several starlings plus a male and a female cardinal separately.

I am done for the night.

 mostly pigeons, its been snowing again here, so i plan to leave out some seeds incase any smaller birds (like chickadees or sparrows) decide to show up
