Today is sunny and mild, a beautiful fall day. :D
I fed the birds. I've seen a large flock of house finches and a lady cardinal.
I put out water for the birds and watered a few plants.
EDIT 10/16/24 -- I watered the patio plants, picnic table, septic garden, maple garden, and amethyst garden.
Most of the coleus plants have died back. Some of the tomatoes and cypress vines are starting to die back too.
EDIT 10/16/24 -- I watered the savanna plants, prairie notch (twice), telephone pole garden, and white garden.
The sunchokes are all dried out now. Most of the goldenrods have gone to fluff, with a white halo when backlit by the sun. Very pretty. :D
I've seen at least one dark-eyed junco.
EDIT 10/16/24 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.
As it is almost time for supper, I am done for the night.
