Birdfeeding

Today is partly cloudy and hot.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a flock of house finches and a fox squirrel.

EDIT 8/3/24 -- I watered the patio plants. 

EDIT 8/3/24 -- I watered the picnic table plants.

EDIT 8/3/24 -- I watered the septic garden.

Another sunflower is blooming there, along with a bachelor's button.  :D

 

EDIT 8/3/24 -- I watered seedlings in the savanna.

 

A flight of dragonflies is zooming over the savanna.

 

More gladioli are blooming in the telephone pole garden, pinks and purples.  \o/

 

A line of dark clouds is rising along the western horizon.

 

EDIT 8/3/24 -- I watered the telephone pole garden and grass patch.

 

At least 2 bats are swooping above the driveway.

 

Fireflies are coming out, not a lot this late in the season, but some, attracted by the warm wet air.  Crickets and cicadas are singing.

 

As it is now dark, I am done for the night.
