Today is cloudy and mild. \o/ It rained much of last night, sometimes drizzle and sometimes downpour. So everything is good and wet.
I haven't fed the birds yet. I've seen a flock of house finches.
Doug went out and got the picnic table with the help of a new friend, Dustin. :D That took a lot of fiddling around but it's in the yard now. We've already carried it from the driveway to the house yard (round 1) and through the house yard to the edge of the south lot (round 2). It's heavy but we can just budge it between the two of us. My legs feel like noodles though.
EDIT 7/16/24 -- I fed the birds.
EDIT 7/16/24 -- We finished moving the picnic table near the septic garden.
EDIT 7/16/24 -- We covered the picnic table with a dropcloth and pinned that down with pavers. It needs a couple of days to dry so I can put on the finishing spray. I feel very accomplished.
EDIT 7/16/24 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.
Fireflies are coming out. I've seen 3 bats again, flying around the perimeter of the yard. Yay, bats! :D
As it is now dark, I am done for the night.
