Birdfeeding

Today is partly sunny and mild.

I haven't fed the birds yet, but I've seen several house finches.

I brought the plants outside and watered them.

EDIT 5/22/23 -- I started clearing the strip garden so I can plant herbs there.

I've seen a mourning dove in the forest garden.

EDIT 5/22/23 -- I fed the birds. I've seen a pair of cardinals.

I planted a garden sage and a tricolor sage in the strip garden.

EDIT 5/22/23 -- I planted a chocolate mint and an orange mint in the strip garden.

EDIT 5/22/23 -- I planted a spearmint and a peppermint in the strip garden.

I saw a hummingbird! :D 3q3q3q!!! It was zooming around investigating the flowers. I do have a red verbena and a pineapple mint blooming. Since all we get in Illinois are ruby throats, I assume that's what it was.
