Today is sunny and warm. It drizzled off and on last night.
I fed the birds. I've seen a small flock of house finches, a pair of rose-breasted grosbeaks, a lady cardinal, and a hummingbird (presumably ruby-throated as that's the only kind we normally get here). :D Hummers usually don't appear until late May or early June when more flowers are blooming. This one was eating out of my tulips.
The grass was still a bit wet, but hopefully it'll dry off later today.
EDIT 4/30/24 -- I picked up big branches fallen in recent winds, gathered a trolley of sticks, and added everything to the firepit for the Beltane ritual later today.
Star of Bethlehem flowers are blooming in the grass.
EDIT 4/30/24 -- I put the firestarters in the bonfire pile.
I've seen Nipple Squirrel.
