Birdfeeding

birdfeedingToday is sunny and mild.
I fed the birds. I've seen a large flock of sparrows, at least two mourning doves, a pair of cardinals, a robin, and a fox squirrel. :D
EDIT 2/14/24 -- I cut brush along the south side of the house.
EDIT 2/14/24 -- I cut more brush along the south side of the house.
EDIT 2/14/24 -- I remembered to rake the leaves off the snowdrops, which have white buds but not open yet. Some crocuses are almost ready to bloom too. But then I discovered that the tulips and daffodils in the beds are way up, so they need to be uncovered, and that's a bunch more work to do.
EDIT 2/14/24 -- I raked up a trolley full of leaves and dumped it around one of the oak seedlings. They like leaf mulch.
As it is getting dark, I am done for the night.
