Birdfeeding

Today is sunny and mild.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a flock of sparrows and a lady cardinal.  They ate about half the seed in the hopper.

I put out water for the birds.

EDIT 2/5/24 -- I cut brush in the parking lot.

EDIT 2/5/24 -- I cut more brush in the parking lot.

As it is getting dark, I am done for the night.

It's a gravel parking lot. I'm cutting by myself and am a smallish person with small tools. So it takes forever. :/ I've got a lot done, though.

Yeah, I'm most of the way to the north edge in the area nearest the flowerbed. I'm trying to figure out how much I really need to hack down in order to keep them from blocking sun to the flowers vs. whether I can ignore some and work on a different area.

Yeah, I wonder what flowers and plants will grow once the weather gets nicer.

I love watching new things sprout and bloom, whether in my yard or elsewhere.
