The key to getting rid of any invasive species is to figure out a use for it, then turn people loose. They've wiped out countless species by overhunting or overpicking. Never underestimate humanity's ability to destroy things.
Garlic mustard? Is edible and tastes like garlic plus mustard. Grind it into hummus or make a spicy green sauce with it.
The most creative solution I've seen came from some of my characters. They gamified invasive species removal by designating them as material components for live-action roleplaying. See "Spiraling Out of Control" and its setting notes.
