Birdfeeding
Oct. 19th, 2023 03:27 pmToday is cloudy and mild. It rained off and on last night and this morning.
I started planting 10 Blue Grape Hyacinths around the purple-and-white garden, which is almost half the bag of 25.
EDIT 10/19/23 -- I fed the birds. I've seen a cardinal the fly-through feeder.
I finished planting blue grape hyacinths around the purple-and-white garden. I still have some left.
EDIT 10/19/23 -- I planted the last of the full-size blue grape hyacinths at the edge of the south lot, not far from the septic garden. I still have some sheds left, little pea-sized ones that came off in the bag.
I've seen a couple of birds in the fly-through feeder, but it was too dark to identify them. Probably they were house finches or sparrows.
EDIT 10/19/23 -- I planted the last of the sheds in the purple-and-white garden, where the tiny bulblets will have less competition.
EDIT 10/19/23 -- I picked up a trolley of sticks and dumped it in the firepit.
As it is almost suppertime, I am done for the night.
