Birdfeeding

Today is mostly sunny and warm.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a small flock of house finches.

I put out water for the birds and watered a few plants.  Honeybees are mobbing the metal birdbath.

EDIT 7/23/24 -- I walked around the yard taking pictures.  

The first zinnia is blooming in the notch of the prairie garden.  :D  I saw a tiger swallowtail that stubbornly refused to land anywhere or pose for me.

EDIT 7/23/24 -- I watered the patio plants, septic garden, and picnic table.

EDIT 7/23/24 -- I watered the monarch strip, tower strip, and bluestem strip in the prairie garden.

EDIT 7/23/24 -- I watered the notch in the prairie garden, telephone pole garden, and grass patch.

Then I did a bit of work around the patio.

I've seen at least one bat flying around the house yard.  :D

As it is now dark, I am done for the night.
