Birdfeeding

Today is sunny and cold.

I haven't fed the birds yet.  When I go into the kitchen, I keep noticing the hopper feeder rocking as if a squirrel has just jumped off it.  There's little wind, so I suspect the squirrel is fleeing from motion.

EDIT 12/22/24 -- I've seen a large flock of sparrows, a male cardinal, a tufted titmouse, and a male downy woodpecker.

EDIT 12/22/24 -- I started spreading compost around the hollies.

EDIT 12/22/24 -- I did a bit of work around the patio.

I've seen several mourning doves and a male house finch.
